Kabir Khan's film, Jab Harry Met Sejal is set to hit the theatres on July 16, 2017 and is produced by Fox Star Studios and Excel Entertainment. The film stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role alongside Anushka Sharma who plays Sejal's love interest. For the first time, Shahid Kapoor is playing a father-daughter relationship in a Bollywood film. Jab Harry Met Sejal is a love story which is based on the true life story of Sophie Scholl and her father Hans. The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah. This film has been written by Neeraj Ghaywan who penned Dhoom 3 and Golmaal Again, which was a huge hit at the box office. It has been directed by Kabir Khan who has been acclaimed for his films like Talaash and Phobia amongst others. Jab Harry Met Sejal is his first international film and we couldn't be any more excited to see the final product. Shahid Kapoor plays a Gujarati-speaking Parsi who runs a travel agency in Mussoorie with his daughter, Sejal. When Sejal meets Mohit Ahlawat, played by actor Imraan Khan, from New York City, they go on a crazy journey together. The movie will be shot in Varanasi, Delhi and Mussoorie. Jab Harry Met Sejal is set to release on July 16th, 2017 and you can watch it for yourself! The trailer looks promising and we can't wait to watch it.
